Have you ever had an ambition that was simply out of this world?  Who wouldn’t want to venture into space.  Christine Darden was an inspirational figure whose career spanned over 40 years working with NASA.  As an adult, I figured that maybe that was a route for me also, well, in a slightly unusual way.  Intrigued? Don’t worry, I’m not about to burst into song!  I certainly do not sing like Aretha Franklin!  However, I pose the question, do you treat others the way that you like to be treated?  Examples in this episode include my own personal opinion on the leadership skills required both in the political and business arena and why respect for others is important.    Also, on a personal level, treating yourself with respect isn’t that complicated either.  Enjoy.

Do you like to participate in sports or exercise?  Why?  That was a question that was put to me by two people recently, and I found it challenging to respond straight away with an answer to an activity that I do regularly.  It’s amazing the amount of everyday things that we take for granted.  I finally came up with a response.  Enjoy.

Older brothers have a tendency to position themselves as role models for their younger siblings, and they will never let you go out in the world unprepared, well, that’s the theory anyway.  However, I have found mine to turn out to be my lifelong mentor.  Ooohhh…. what does that feel like?  Have a listen to find out more!

We all have the power to inspire with our voices.  Everyone has a story that somebody else wants to hear.  Regardless of what football team you support, Marcus Rashford has taught us is to speak up about issues that we feel passionate about.  The fact that he dared to speak up made a difference to so many families.  Have a listen as to why I believe that it is so important for you to use your powerful voice.  Enjoy.

Do you ask for help when you don’t know how to do something or can’t manage it on your own? We can’t be good at everything, and in this example, I learnt the hard way.  However, knowing that we have people to call upon should we need help is empowering.  Listen to find out more.  Enjoy!
