Living with a Stammer

A stammer is a disorder of speech. There are stoppages and disruptions which interrupt the smooth flow and timing of the speech. These stoppages may take the form of repetitions of sounds, syllables or words.   This weeks guest, Brian Skelton, shares his story of how he developed a stammer as a young boy and how this followed him though to adulthood.  His experience includes being bullied and two suicide attempts.  He sought help as an adult and a three day therapy course with the charity Starfish Project  changed his life.  He is an inspiration and an accomplished public speaker.
