Sophie Preston Hall is a remarkable entrepreneur who built a successful hospitality recruitment business from the ground up with just £300, no business experience, and a determination to succeed.
Leaving school at 16 with no GCSEs and severe dyslexia, she worked her way up through hospitality before taking the leap to start her own business as a single mum. Twenty-five years later, that business has become a respected agency built on relationships, hard work, and a genuine commitment to helping people.
Today, she’s also serving her community as an Essex County Councillor for Rochford North, championing local businesses and working people.
On the podcast, she shares her journey of overcoming adversity, raising a family, building a business, and proving that where you start in life doesn’t determine where you can end up.

Well presented and shows that the drive to succeed can be achieved with determination. The journey is challenging but ones goal can be achieved with never giving up.
